And now Artrage is downloaded from the member area and installed and EOS is ready to launch and oh my why do I have so many games I can't even recall what they are???

(And regarding EOS I suspect it's gonna need way more time before being playable, but it does say "launch" so I guess a-launching we go. Though I should probably not try to actually play until my mouse is transferred from the old computer to the new....)

Yeah I visited the website and saw. I also clicked launch which prompted me to open a web browser which wanted me to login to Epic Games again although going there from the Epic Games launcher, and then it couldn't/wouldn't actually load a page. I clicked the game in the epic launcher again and it started the actual installation process. It's all very confusing and I think I'll now make something for dinner and watch the second episode of "Wellington Paranormal" (which HBO suggested as being similar to Our Flag Means Death - it's a mockery of those "follow police officers as they work" thing, polite new zealanders included. Kind of fun but all quite silly, and about 20 minute long episodes.)

As for EOS it needed 20 GB space and now 80 GB remains to install

The progress bar is not linear.
For me (with my download speeds) the first 19% of the progress bar was about 80% of the time it took for the full process.
It was sloooow. I think the full install was around six hours.

It downloads 80GB. Then it applies/installs that 80GB (during this process the speed increases considerably). Then it downloads another 10GB (back to 3MB/s) which was the language pack. Then it applies/installs that 10GB. Then there were some smaller updates after that.

Get comfy, you won't be playing it for a while.

I plan to let it install over night. I had to pause it though - installing that and watching HBO at the same time didn't work very well.

My old touchscreen Kobo was about 50 quid and now they cost over one- maybe two- sometimes even THREE hundred pounds. Yes, I know inflation is a thing but technology is also supposed to get cheaper.

OK I only got to the boards creaking under his weight when I thought he doesn't really weigh that much and then there are his eyes.... I swear it was one green and one black, not amethyst? I think purple eyes were typical of the whatstheirnames. Not the Lannisters, for sure.
