This place is so quiet on weekends. Which made me realise that it'll be awfully lonely when I start working again and will mostly be here on weekends...
Well *sniff* I guess I will have evenings off, too...
and yes, I seem to be on the verge of getting a job... again... No idea when I'll start, though. An it's not a permanent position either, but since I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, that's OK.

And then I saw some statistics that showed me that my salary 3 years ago was about 75% of the (current) median salary for my profession... So it wasn't even good then.
On the other hand I will have other duties in this job, so I wouldn't have gotten an equivalent salary anyway. But she did accept my offer suspiciously quickly.
And on yet another hand (not sure how many I have now), since it's not a permanent position that means my salary would have to be renegotiated anyway, should the job be prolonged or made permanent or if I should choose to become an environmental health officer again. (Which is what most people are, in that office.)
