well, wooden teeth has been a thing, and amalgam fillings are definitely not white, nor are gold fillings... so, why not

Merlin skipped up onto the bed and lay down next to me, TWICE this night. And I've been able to pet him a little. But G keeps chasing him off.... Even though M clearly likes his big brother and keeps headbutting him quite forcefully...

OK, nobody cares but Merlin is getting braver still. Just now he jumped up on my desk while I was sitting here with Gandalf. Unfortunately he didn't stay long enough for a picture... But he was also in my bed while I was napping earlier. (I'm still not getting enough sleep during the night...)

One gets the keyboard, the other gets the graphics tablet. Plenty of room available.

I almost had a cat encounter the other day. A ginger one wandered through the garden and stopped to look at me through the window. The local moggies usually ignore me despite the fact that I like cats, but this time eye contact was made.

I meowed.
He stared.
I meowed again.
He stared.
I meo-
Then it ran off.

Must have said the wrong word.

Cats always ignore people who like them.
I've been trying the slow blink thing with Merlin but he just stares back at me like he thinks I'm a complete idiot. He does talk to me though (I assume, since all the experts claim cats don't talk to each other using noises), but like you, I'm not very good in Cattish.

I've always been surprisingly good at cat noises.
The trick is making the little small sounds rather the classic "Meooow".
But that ginger one in the garden didn't want to hear it.
