Inside my neighbours apartment? Smelling like burnt food? I suspect not.

Finally called to an interview. Only... no travelling due to Corona. So a Skype interview next week. Do I even have Skype?

EDIT: yes I do, but I need an account to use it - and that, I don't have. Oh well. I'll worry about that next week.

DAY SOMETHING OR OTHER...

I just donned a Hazmat suit and made the treacherous journey into the disease ridden barren wasteland know as "The shops down the road". It was there that I noticed it wasn't so barren as it was busier than normal as people were carefully self isolating themselves in public along with all the other people, and were carefully filling up trolleys with as much "stuff" as they could possibly get. It seems we have moved on from toilet paper to panic buying bread, milk, and every kind of canned goods that may exist.

I have returned from the wild post apocalypse with a couple of packets of biscuits and some cat food which I will share with the cat as we sit around a candle for warmth, prepared for any looters that might attempt to break in.

Night is rolling in.

So far all is quiet.

Fridays are awful in the shops, any day of the week. Uh, I mean, any apocalypse... I decided to postpone my forays until tomorrow. Though it will be hard to survive the night without chocolate...

Oh and I just have to mention. A friend had totally missed the whole Corona virus thing, and only became aware recently and the first thing she noticed was the bulk buying of toilet paper. She seemed perfectly honest when she said she assumed diarrhea must be one of the symptoms... (and who can blame her!)

Maybe the people that didn't get toilet paper in time are using the bread as a substitute instead. It has a similar shape and texture
