Totally Random

I think I remember all those things from being mentioned last year.

I've been out of painkillers and lozenges for days, and am almost out of chocolate and handkerchiefs too... Haven't wanted to go out and get cold but I think I'll have to go to the nearby gas station at the very least...

Well today was a bit of an artistic disaster.
I was struggling with another doggy picture and then had the bright idea of trying to fix it in Krita. It didn't go that well but I thought I'd save it anyway but when I clicked the button Krita decided to have one of those hissy fits. And this time it was a proper crash too! It even locked up Windows and I couldn't even switch it off. I had to pull the plug at the socket which left Windows complaining and took out all of my personal settings and it also corrupted the USB drive.
So instead of quickly finishing the pic and doing some work on the this month's challenge I ended up wasting too many hours trying to get Window back to "normal" and fixing my USB drive.

oh dear. Now I'll never dare open Krita again!

One of my coworkers bought a box of Quality Street after a friend told her they were "soooo goood". She didn't like them, so she brought them here to work. Nobody here likes them either. (I tried one with purple wrapping - and I threw half of it away... but at least I didn't spit the other half out, so I guess it could have been worse... )

I tried a brown wrapper one today. I ate it all but it was very meh.

They are all edible.

If you define edible as "non-toxic", perhaps...

It's certainly edible but not one of my favourites. Green Triangle and that long Toffee Finger are the ones for me. And the brown one is the Toffee Deluxe! There was many a complaint when that was removed a few years back!
