In Sweden they seem to only be available from "aid" companies (selling aids for elderly or disabled). But searching for "bed risers" I'm finding a bit more.

(most of the images of extensions just took me to pages that said "awesome/fantastic extensions" with a picture and nothing more... or every bit of info was in chinese )

Just watched that last night. Also the highlight of my week TV wise. I have to agree that picture was excellent and also have to agree with that depressing feeling - especially when the artist was about 5 years old (actually 19 I believe).

leaning towards simple wooden blocks now, or even toy wooden blocks. If they're not intended to raise a bed or other piece of furniture they seem to be considerably less pricey.

no, I just want to be able to have friends and family sleep over and everything being comfortable and practical. I know I hate sleeping on too thin matresses on the floor or a slightly too short couch

oh lol
well, apparently they can weigh up to 15 kilos so they CAN get pretty big. Which I've found is a bit of an issue when buying carriers and climbing/clawing trees...
