Legend

Brief: This months challenge is in tribute to the Actor Tim Curry who passed away recently. Star of Legend, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, IT, and voice artist on numerous animated shows. Do something Tim Curry related.

Deadline: Midnight on Wednesday 30th of September. There will now be no voting and no eventual winner, this is just a creative exercise with a time limit.

- Feedback is allowed & encouraged together with the voting and in the WIP thread.
- Deadline is given in UK time (midnight UTC) with a grace period of 5 minutes for getting the post sorted.
- No cheating! Admins may decide to disqualify an entry that does not adhere to the above rules.

I haven't seen the film (not sure I;ve seen any of his films really ) and looking at references I don't really understand what the costume is that I'm looking at. Maybe it's a cape or something? And I have no idea of the anatomy of his legs so ... who knows how this will turn out.

It's a sort of sleeveless cloak/cape, yeah. And I'm not sure what kind of legs he had but I do think I recall hooves. In the images of the character there seem to be quite a few statuettes, and they seem to have goat legs, but mainly hidden within his trousers (that seem to look different in every depiction).

I loved the movie when I was a kid. I thought Mia Sara was the prettiest girl I'd ever seen - made my whole family watch "Queenie" on TV too - though I don't think they minded. It was the age of Dynasty, Falcon Crest and Dallas after all. And I really liked the darkness character. When I rewatched it later I thought he was a bit whiney at the end though. And back when I was little I probably thought Tom Cruise cute too. Back then he didn't have the scientology rep.

I think you should see it if you get the chance, though it's probably aged rather a bit and a young mind might appreciate it more

I'll have a think about it and work a bit more tomorrow but... Goat-leg trousers?!

...I stopped thinking about it and had another go and he now has some pants.
