CGAN May 26 - Submarine - WIPs

Submarine

Brief: Interpret the title as you wish into some kind of creative visual brilliance.(No, it doesn't have to be yellow.)

Deadline: Midnight on Sunday 31st of May. There will now be no voting and no eventual winner, this is just a creative exercise with a time limit.

Rules in brief:
- All challenge entries must be your own work. (No AI - prompts don't count as creative exercise, here.)
- You should post at least two WIP images that are clearly different from your final entry and each other.
- Your final entry should contain your image (inserted so it shows up full size) and at least two links to your WIP posts on the forum.
- No chatter in the finals thread – if you have questions, post them in the WIP thread or PM an admin.
- Feedback is allowed & encouraged after deadline and in the WIP thread.
- Deadline is given in UK time (midnight UTC) with a grace period of 5 minutes for getting the post sorted.

I see what you did there.

I haven't quite settled for inside or outside submarine so... I started a related critter... A unipus! I'll have to redo that tentacle when I remember how to get things other than the movement of vertices to be mirrored...  

 

Edit: While trying to make the eyes rounder I realised I'd ended up with different amounts of vertices in the two eyes so I tried symmetrize, which worked fine except it erased the one tentacle, so now it's a nopus.  

In hindsight I should probably have made it more symmetrical to begin with and had the arms all straight down... Though I guess it's still workable...

As mentioned, not the best "T-pose". But at least it has arms now. But no suckers. Poor sucker.
