CGAN Nov 23 - Super Villain - WIPs

We now have a title and some minor adjustments to text spacing  and some small detail changes to pencil thingies. Onward to inking

Three days??

At least your pic is progressing and looking good.

I am trying (trying! ) to do another page to setup the villain introduction with some panels showing the discovery of a lost city, the sarcophagus with the brain and then the cloning...

 

...and this will supposedly go together with the exposed brain-man closeup to make a double spread title page that explains everything. Or not.

Holy Moly. 48 page graphic novel by Thursday 

You can't quite see it in the final due to the scale, but I did go to the effort of trying to mimic the look of Ben Day dots and colour overlay from the printing process. And because I went to that effort I'm damn well going to show it   

I ended up adding a noise layer on top in the final to try and help, but this is with the colour halftone filter in Photoshop. I had to enlarge the page by 400 percent before hand because the filter has a minimum size which resulted in dots that were too large. This is scaled back down to the original size (I could possibly have done with making the dots fractionally larger, I'll have to play around some time and experiment more).
