Still not sure about a lot of things here. The snakey head looks better but turning it into a twisting "outline" of magicky stuff seems to take away from the idea of it constricting around the neck.
EDIT: In fact it now just looks like a bendy green ladder.
Also that staff and the hand/arm that holds it all make that pose look very static.

Another thing I might do is add some green to the casters staff in order to connect the two things together (BOOOINK!)

I had no idea Doc Savage existed as anything but dorky books. And the TV series is just as dorky!
Also, for the guy with the staff I think the pose looks stiff because he holds both arms the exact same way? If he's using his staff to cast a spell forward, maybe the other arm should pull backwards a bit? *

I have read one or two... Never saw the film (not a series then? There seemed to be so many things mentioned for him to fight, but I guess I shouldn't be surprissed.) And I can imagine it being enjoyable.... I just can't imagine it being very good...
