Complicated "looking" maybe, definitely not complicated in any other way. I feel embarrassed to even refer to them as rigs as it's just some joints bound to a mesh, there's no IK, no controls, no nuffink. Just enough to get it done.

I feel embarrassed to even refer to them as rigs as it's just some joints bound to a mesh, there's no IK, no controls, no nuffink. Just enough to get it done. 

ALL my rigs are pretty much like that.
Default bone groups with little-to-no weight painting all usually rotated manually with a bit of pulling and pushing with the Auto IK turned on. But for this one I did need two IK targets for the feet to plant them on the ground ... well, sort of on the ground
