CGAN March2021 The Unseen (WIPs)

At first glance it may look like I’ve moved backwards on this one but there is some work on it (honest).
I’m trying to refine the main figure but his pose looks extremely stiff.
Any thoughts would be hugely appreciated.
I’ve knocked back the bear as it’s still too close to the ref for my liking but I’ll be changing it up some.

Perhaps raise his shield/arm? Or both arms... - not sure if it's a good or bad idea to basically pose him the same as the bear (arms raised, angry/roaring face)....

I actually had a similar idea but dropped the bears arms to mirror (slightly) his.
I’ve also angled his arm out a little and put more of a bend in his elbow. Along with dropping his near shoulder and raising his far one I’m much happier with his pose. I think it looks more confrontational now.

Think I’m nearly done.
If I had more time I would like to redraw the main character in a more dynamic pose but meh!
Gonna see what I can do in the next few days but I think this is pretty much how the final will look.
