Updated with a quick fingerpainted edit to add the option of a fishy fin. Not sure if that ruins the line of the neck.
Those rear legs still look dodgy and I'm not sure how they'll improve.

They're almost as bad as hands and all the refs in the world don't seem to help me. Maybe I'll add some long grass to cover them up.
"No!" says the voice in my head.
"Just keep repainting them."
I think moving the fin might be an excellent idea. I currently like the way the neck curves down into the "shoulder" area and it'd be a shame to lose that line.
Edit: Just found a couple of good leg references so... study time!

It's only a line drawing atm but even this took me ages.
I spent at least 4 days trying to decide on which animals to use, then bugged my wife for two days asking for random animal ideas - "errrrrrrrr...what about a dog, an alligator and a bird?" "NO! Those are the wrong random animals!!"
So Ive just spent the better part of a day downloading loaaaaaaadsa reference and photobashing stuff together.
I give you my Spider Eyed Gorilla Crab! (with Rick hands, as he's the only person I know who shoots multiple images with the same lighting and outfit.)

Great start though - those spider eyes are already creeping me out!
