This is about as far as I have got with him. I just bodged some lighting and materials quickly in order to post this. He still isn't posed, textured, properly lit, or set in any kind of an environment.

If I remember correctly the whataretehycalled in Dune didn't have much of posing and background or anything much either.
Some "special effects" haven't aged very well...
