180? That's more like a 360! You just can't resist a change-up and I'm envious. I barely have enough ideas to do one picture yet you seem to do at least three for every challenge.
And the more graphic, stylized effect could work well here, especially with the text. Keep pushing it.

Nope, on both counts. The history of Comic Sans is detailed in the article I linked to. It also misses some important characters that would be required for comic lettering, not to mention all the problems with kerning and width etc. I don't actually hate CS myself, it does have some significant problems but it is far from the worst I have encountered.

Awesome start Mercury, all three lions look great, anatomy doesn't look like there's any issues and the poses are spot on to show their mood. WIll look great with some light and shadows.

I can see you added more to yours, the backround looks really detailed and full of colors and nebulas, really brings out Leo, his legs and feet are looking better,. the color choices are perfect, looks great, you always pic vibrant colors that go well together.

I tried adding a crown on my Leo but it looked off..i'm not sure how im going to detail his body, either with some artistic style or to show realism, hmmm struggling a bit, ill work it out...
