The captcha widget was continually spinning and failing to resolve, this is now fixed. This has probably affected the contact page, registrations, and forum posting for new users

Someone said somewhere that one doesn't need to worry about answering captcha questions correctly as they actually look at mouse movements and I'm feeling very doubtful since I'm frequently asked to do 4-5 in a row on some sites...
There's also one site I use at work that has one of those "I am not a robot" checkboxes, but you can fill the form out and get your info your requesting, regardless of whether you check it or not.
In short, I don't trust captchas at all.
Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.
