Interest check...
Anyway, I was thinking maybe it could be fun to set up a weekly challenge of 1) get out, 2) take photo, 3) paint in some fantasy creature or similar (could change every week, like dragon, gnome, etc.) but I doubt very much I'd get around to it all alone. So is there any interest at all by those who frequent this forum, more or less frequently?

Edit: and leaving the house was kind of the point, not taking photos, anyway

My Wife and Son drove up to Wawa’s to pick up a couple drinks shortly after we got home, (because the power was out) and they said there are trees down everywhere you look. I swear it really looked like a Tornado was coming through when we were all watching it from within the house, and it sure looks like there is a ton of damage to the surrounding folks near us. Just hope no one got hurt. … Can’t say I’ll leave the house tomorrow though…
I get sketchy around pencils! ...

Good to hear nobody was hurt (as far as you know) anyway.

Sounds like the opening of The Mist get out of there quick!Well, I left the house today, as I mentioned earlier… walked across the entire street and visited the neighbors place with all the other friends and family they invited. - Good food, good conversation, and was quite nice… until the Massive Storm hit!!! - Winds picked up all of a sudden, everyone in the pool got out, and then it poured down extremely hard for nearly 15 minutes. Winds were recorded to be over 80+ MPH and we all watched 3 very large trees uproot and topple over just behind the homes next to us. So, I went back to my house shortly afterwards, and though I didn’t lose any trees, (This time) my yard is an absolute mess, AGAIN! (Didn’t take any photos though) - I’ve spent the last three weekends cleaning up storm debris in my yard, including a Red Bud I lost just 6 weeks ago, when 1/3 of it fell during the last big storm with heavy winds.

I too have been trying to force myself to do walks for the last few weeks. Although I've never been the sort of person that takes loads of photos and posts them on the internet. Sounds like something that hacker wants me to do to find my location.
But here's a squirrel I chased last week being ridden by a very small bearded man.
Quite difficult to match the lighting and photo quality.

But I definitely wanted to try it out to force you to do one too.
