April challenge here: Elder God
March entries - Egg Bunnies
Adventures across the 3rd dimension
First I had the exe file in my Skyrim Tools folder but I was told that folder wasn't a valid command, program or batch file. I thought it might be because of the space in the folder name, so I moved it up one level. Now that level wasn't valid, and up one level and that one wasn't valid. And now C:/ isn't valid - and of course that's not the program.... the ck-cmd is. But I'm not sure what the heck I do wrong. The only difference I see if that in the example, it just says "Mike>
" whereas my prompt says "charl>" only....Every time I think I may be on to something I get rudely shoved back to square one.

EDIT - And make sure your backslashes are backslashes and not forward slashes (if you copy and paste the address from an explorer window you will need to edit them or it wont work).

I do understand the whole running the input output line. It's the "opening the directory" that keeps failing. And yes I'm slashing things the right way
Is there a way to get to a lower line instead of typing directly after the user info thingy? Because the image looks like each command is ona new line but my prompt won't let me move the cursor anywhere...

It seems to have worked now, though I've yet to test the model first in nifskope then CK and then in-game, if it gets that far...
Edit: Yup that was totally messed up. It made the collision into the main mesh and the main mesh into collisions...
I guess I'll have to start over tomorrow. At least I seem to finally have the right tools. And hopefully all of them.
Edit2: actually it doesn't seem to have quite done what I said but I'm too tired to figure out what was done and what wasn't...
