ahhh. I find it helps to go "wheee" whenever going round the bend. My coworkers laugh at that, though...

whyyyy can't I ever just stop playing a game if it's not what I want anyway?
I was bored yesterday evening and downloaded a game called "lost island". Like all lost islands it needs to have a beach bar. And a swimming pool. But I've yet to see the house which I assume "I" bought with the island... It's a play match-2 (or is that pop-2?) games to get stars which you use to complete tasks. But it's probably meant for a younger audience...
Game character: we should make a phone call
Quest log: lights up
Me: clicks quest in quest log (one star spent)
Game character: makes a phone call
Me: goes back to quest log where the quest get's marked as done.
Repeat.

Well since finishing the awesome Subnautica I've been through Rise of the Tomb Raider (which I didn't enjoy quite as much as the previous one), and last night I played through Little Nightmares (which was also a pretty cool game):

Did you hear that Telltale games are closing down and you wont get any more Walking Deads etc?

If they make undead games maybe it doesn't matter if they're undead too? Not that I've played any of the games mentioned...

Telltales games are story heavy games released in serialised chapters. So it means that people that were playing those games wont get any ending to those stories. It would be like George Martin saying he was retiring from writing without releasing the last GoT book. Or like Disney saying they weren't going to make any more Star Wars fil--- no, never mind that last one.

Just the other day George Martin popped up his head from behind his manuscript to tell us that he still hasn't finished Winds Of Winter but it's "very complex." And it's not even the final book!

In my own gaming nonsense I have finally managed to finish NFS: Carbon by beating Darius in the canyon duel. The final four race sequence (with no save option between) was a bit annoying but not as annoying as Darius's bizarre outfit. He looks like he got dressed in a charity shop!
Anyway, with that one beaten (and with me still being stuck on that checkpoint challenge of the previous game) I have now switched my car racing antics to Midnight Club 3.

I'm still popping colored bricks and wondering why I keep going I guess I want to see the end result even if I'm "led by the nose" all the way...
