Vaguely Recognisable Faces

oh. Well it was kinda funny but I didn't feel it fitted in much with the others. Then again I never was a huge fan of the X-files anyhow.

One of the good things about that episode is the way it opened with Mulder in his office effectively explaining why the X-Files doesn't really work anymore now that they're all middle-aged. It seemed rather ironic and brutally honest amidst all the other dud episodes. But I always loved Darin Morgan's work, he has a terrific writing "voice" and his stories are so densely packed with ideas, references and wit.

And back to the doodling; here's another pencil->Sketchbook thing...

I should really get back to doing more "finished" stuff now.

I had to look up who Alan Moore is but the texture in all that hair is amazing

The dark base for the hair was done with ArtRage Stickers using the 'Kinky Curly Fur' and 'Yeti Fur' with some pencil over the top to add lighter strands.

I think the nose could use a bit more time though.
