Well... Seamoth (the whatsitcalled, that is) rescue mission went well. I even managed to retrieve what I had dropped in the water as I died, since apparently heavy metals and such float in this place... (or rather, they have the same density as water and neither float or sink...)

Then I got a distress call, set out to find it as there was no signal to follow and my seamoth got totally smashed by a reaper (or whatevertheyarecalled) and I had to flee back to safety. Where I found i DID have 4 lithiums but I can't make the item I wanted anyway because it required some sort of special modification station that I don't have.

Also I was supposed to stop radioactivity from the wrecked ship within 24 hours and that was days ago...

I'm feeling ever so slightly incompetent...

So you successfully rescued the Seamoth in order to take it to it's death?

I need to start setting up a habitat. I think. I probably should have done that ages ago. But I feel a bit torn. If this had been a real life situation I'd probably just set up shop in that alien tower structure. It's dry and sheltered and all... But I dunno if I should, or if I should build nearer the pod, or elsewhere entirely... I'm figuring the tower would be a good place because it has a moon pool, too, (is that a thing or a game thing?) but then... I still don't need all those underwater modules...

You need to find the plans to build a moonpool. It's a specific "room" type that is required for certain things like the upgrade station for vehicles.

But there already IS one

Anyway, I went to the tower and saw one of those nasty creatures that try to kill me and thought better of setting up a habitat there... But then when i died I lost a whole load of titanium I had planned to use for building the habitat. Not that titanium is hard to come by...
