Separate the front section of roof from the back section, edit the roof to the right size, then put it back together (which will require editing the back section slightly as well).

I know I'm not as versed in Blender but I'd still find this the easiest, I think...:

If that green area corresponds to its own face (and it should) you ought to be able to extrude it. Yes you might have to adjust the resulting height or so of the new face to get a continuous flat roof but it shouldn't be undoable. I don't think.

Or what Banj said, I guess :dunno:

Yay, my brainwave worked.
Overhang is now there. :aha:

I forgot that because of all the modifiers the main house is actually made up of just the bottom plank (which is then modified with a bevel, an array and then a boolean) so I only had to scale four vertices to narrow the whole front section. I then had to compensate with the door and the front step too but that wasn't too tricky.

a plank, a bevel, an array and a boolean... No wonder it took you much longer than just shaping a box...

a plank, a bevel, an array and a boolean...

More planks! (For a tower.)
More bevels! (Also for the tower.)
More arrays! (Yep, the tower again.)
More booleans! (to make holes for the windows.)

I also did a bit of an experiment my joining everything together (which required me to apply every modifier first) and then using the lattice modifier to deform the whole building to make it sag and twist like a proper haunted thing and it kind of worked. I'll need to experiment further but that will be done properly at the end (if I can do it properly.) But before all that I'll need to start thinking about materials/textures and the surroundings. :hmm:

It's starting to look much better than my dollhouse, which so far hasn't evolved at all. :pout:

I made a single roof tile and used lots of arrays to cover the whole roof! :woohoo:

Don't think I'll be able to use that method with the sharply tapering tower so I may not bother with it anyway but it was satisfying to do. :)

I'm really hoping that there won't be any UVs and that the procedural textures will automatically look wonderful. Somehow.
