I think you can go darker in some of the shadows though, e.g. her nostril, the "smiling creases" in her cheeks and below her chin

Looks good! The hair can be improved a bit, I recommend thinking of them as thick strands before doing the smaller detailed ones, it's just easier to handle that way and generally looks more natural! Keep it going!
