I've found a couple of weaknesses and swapped my team about accordingly, and even managed to parry and counter one of the attacks, but I hit and I hit and I hit and cannot get its health below 50% and as the health slowly goes down it changes the timing pattern of the attacks and wipes people out and then gobbles them up so I can't even revive them. May as well ditch those skills too.
After many deaths I realised (far too late) that I can weaken and incapacitate the tail by shooting but bizarrely it can still use the tail when incapacitated and it still does significant damage AND changes the timing pattern again!
This is awful I must be missing something.
