Hey, Thomgirl! *waves* :excited:

Great to see you and your work again.
And that's a fantastic one to return with. The horse looks realistic already and the the way it curls around and down acts as a lovely frame for the human character.
Hope the crazy time will give you chance to develop it further. :)

Thanks, Valence! This will probably be just a speed project and I'm not sure how much art time I will get. Spring time is really busy for farm stuff, so 'quarantine' doesn't really impact me. But it was raining today and I decided to sneak some drawing time in. I've actually been painting miniature gaming figures for commission and since I can make some money from those (and rarely get commission work for illustration), they're getting priority. But it's nice to draw too :) It was actually seeing your win that prompted me to check back in here since it's been so long. Congrats to you!

Yeah, most of what I do now is speedpainting. If anything takes longer than a few short hours then I'm eager to abandon it although I try to put in a bit more work for those challenge pics.
I guess patience is another thing of the past, if I ever had it in the first place. :P

Painting gaming figures sounds fun. Got any examples you'd want to show off? I keep trying to convince myself to do some fan art by painting gaming screenshots but I think that's another plan that requires patience.

Ask and ye shall be given:

I have lots of others I've worked on, but most of the images are on my phone and for some reason the website is being weird about me logging in properly there for the moment. This was one of my favorites to do though :)

Wow, that looks impressive. And super cool too. :)
It would need to be enormous for me to get that level of detail.
Very well done!

good to see you! I've just moved so I have no internet or well... no computer or tv or much of anything unpacked yet but I hope to see more of your stuff when I "come back" (and dont have to struggle with my phone to post)

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Some updates. Other projects, some finished (like the mech pilot guy for a Battletech commission), some not (like the DnD Shifter), and some still on the drawing board like my current drawing of the Native American with her mustang.

Good to see you Charlotte! Grats on the move, but I know what you mean on not having unpacked or settled in much. I don't miss those stages XD

All good as usual but I really love that second one. So much about that one is working brilliantly. The pose, the great hand, the attitude and expression, the design of the eyes and the skin patterns, plus the distant blurring of the background.
I think the line of shading at the left side shoulder could have a better angle, or maybe you could pull the clothing over to cover that shoulder, but either way the picture is at a really good place now and will be even more satisfying as it progresses.

Thanks! I'm rather fond of it. I'm not sure if I'll get around to finishing it any time soon, but that shoulder has been bugging me. Eventually I'll address it before ever calling it finished, but priorities first.

@Atto: Thanks! I'm hoping to be more active too, but may just be a bi weekly thing. Stuff is pretty busy around here!
