The Aywas Thread

speaking of cute creatures, I felt my werewolf's muzzle was a bit dainty. Fixed that and hopefully the values. I'd probably have chosen less saturated colours if this was for me, but the person it's for wants a red furred werewolf so... the red needs to show... Still haven't done the fur and I need to add some blood to muzzle and claws but it's getting there... I hope?

I think I'm done. Any final advice before I hand it over to the recipient?



(Edit: and of course I've already fiddled a bit here and there... Still interested in feedback, though)

Another "commission" for the same person. I'm not really sure how these two pics compare to four little pixel pets, really. Seems a bit of an unfair trade to me, but then I'd never pay real life money for those pets and others do... And I did it more to see if I could anyhow, so I'm happy I finished both pieces...

This one is another RPG character, an 18 year old human redhead. I tried to go a bit manga style, and a bit towards celshading but I think the end result is a mix of that and my usual "aywas style" and some of my "usual (non-aywas) style... Anyways, it's not total crap but I dunno if I'll bother uploading it to the gallery here or my website...

But can you believe the recipient didn't want freckles! Good thing I had anticipated that possibility and put them on their own layers...

My "genie" clothing set (as the aywas users have dubbed it) is winning by a landslide. 95% of the votes so far. Would be nice except there's only one other set submitted and it was thrown together and is more of a sketch, nowhere near site quality. So there's not much reason to be pleased, and some reason to wonder why a few people actually voted for the other set... (I think it was drawn with a pen tool at a small size so most of the edges are really harsh and jagged, while one item obviously has been resized so that it's edges are a total blur...)

Oh well... getting a set in there is a good way of making loads of (fake) money

I couldn't resist submitting a coloration of my own for the genie set...
