Thanks, was just making sure. :) Actually I'm done with hanging cabinets for the night, so I have about 90 minutes to sketch in some ideas. As mentioned above, I'm not really liking the two in the front that much.

Ok, so I just quickly roughed in some bigger guys in front to see how they might work. Didn't think too much on them, just basic positioning. Also think I need to re-work the guy on the lower right. ... My son just walked by and said it reminded him of one of the Thundercat characters. :) ... Thinking the two little guys could be her thieves or scouts, and the big guys in the front could be the muscle. ... Would like to know what you all think. Too much with the big guys? Or changes the layout too much and the little guys worked better? (But re-worked that is)

Thanks

Aah Dom what have you got against Karakals I think they are neat looking. Oh you mean the hairless :P . Yes they are rather weird looking. I had a coworker that had one and they are even stranger in real life :X

Dom I like the new and bigger pussy cats. .

Dave, I rather liked the group of small cats though the foremost one looked a bit strange in the shoulders area. If you go with small ones, you could try just having the three of them (that one that stares up at mommy with big adoring eyes... you can't remove that!) - if you choose to go with the bigger ones, I think you need to decide if they are indeed cats. I think they look more like dogs just now...

Regarding the hairless cats, I actually met one this summer. It lives next door to daddy's ex-wife (whom he spends all his time with...) They both said you couldn't believe how soft their (short) fur was! And it looked rather velvety, so I petted it, and it wasn't particularly soft in my opinion. Plus my hand sort of stuck on the wrinkles all the time, so it was hard to stroke it :P

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Appreciate the feedback. :)

And yeah I just quickly threw them in to see how they might look, and was actually struggling to get the angle I was thinking would work. But will see if I can make them more kitty like. :) ... too funny about your hand sticking to the wrinkles! :D I'm guessing they have a similar feel to them, as a Shar Pei, or wrinkle dogs. Kind-of has a soft, but rough feel to them and the skin stays with the hand. - Thanks again.

Ewww... that sounds gross!

I petted a hairless dog once (actually it had hair on its head, but not on its body) and it was somewhat the same. There was a lot of friction when stroking it, so it felt like stroking the bottom of someone's foot. A wrinkly saggy foot!! Weird!!

... sorry Dave, now I am taking over your thread!

Everything's on the right!!!

It's like driving abroad!

No worries, Dom. Tit for tat as they say. :D ... Weirdness, ramblings, etc. are always welcome. :)

Oh Dave, I like the set up of this. Agree with what's already been said about the 'catness' of the forground figures and the shoulder placement, but I understand how that goes with sketches! I will say though those 'cat-dogs' look actually like Dogo Argentinos. Really neat breed of dog that one day my husband and I are looking to get once our current zoo (may they have long lives!) gets small again. Check them out, beautiful animals.

Thank you ma'am, I surely will do that. :) ... I've actually been sitting here making some changes to the big guys, since the wife is STILL in the kitchen! So until she's done, I can't work on the cabinets. (which I think she's now wrapping up) ... But here's a small update. Basically just using the lasso tool and warp, been moving some of their features around, and actually noticed a few flaws. Eyes not being far enough forward and too much to the sides. I also made the guy on the right smaller overall. Hope they are getting closer, though as I've stated, not really trying to make them exact replicas, but want the cat feel. May even add some additional elements as I go. :) Here's where it's at now, and I'm off to work now. :(

Just checked out those Dogo Argentinos, they are pretty neat looking. Remind me of Cane Corso's, with are like a dark version on them. The guy up the street just rescued one at 8 months old. ... Cool dogs. :)
