What's the theme here Dave? It looks like an idea that I had for a previous challenge on the site-that-shall-not-be-mentioned! I drew a giant using extreme foreshortening, viewed from top to bottom. He had a little girl on his hand and she was looking over his fingers at the ground below.

This looks totally different, but it just reminds me of the idea.

It looks good as it comes together!

Everything's on the right!!!

It's like driving abroad!

Well Dom, I actually thought the theme was quite obvious, but I guess not? ... The theme is, I have absolutely no idea! :P

The wife told me it would be 15 or 20 minutes before breakfast was done this morning, and I've had an itch to do some artwork for a while, especially since the site opened. Guess it was too much to bare this morning, so I started scratching.

I simply started making some lines, and this guy just showed up. Don't know his name, or where he's going, so I guess we will find out together. :) I just called the pic Traveler, and actually got an idea while working, that I might try to change the little character on the staff, to maybe a navigator who pops out the top of the staff to occasionally give him directions. Dunno if I can pull it off, but it looks ok in my head.

I'm actually throwing in the towel for doing any more work tonight, so I might sit down and see if I can get to know this guy a little better. ... Thanks

Well, played around a little with the idea I mentioned. Still not really sure, but think I'm liking the navigator popping out the staff's head. But I did rough in a fairy as well, which is the original thought. Just think the navigator adds to the 'traveler's' story. Here's both versions, in case anyone would like to see which they feel works better.

He sort of reminds me of the goat monks in Wizard101

Yep, can definitely see the resemblance. But looks like your guy uses his walking stick for more then just walking. :)
