Wow, loving the precision involved, especially in the background.

Yeah, it's really starting to get the proper Giger feel to it.

Sorry Stuart I haven't really got anything to add at this stage, to the crits you've already received from others :)

I've made some more progress - it seems it's much faster to paint this woman thingy than the alien thingies. (Maybe 'cause I just need to paint half of her, using the paint symmetry tool?) The legs are only just filled in so far, not at all finished. And I think her "tendons" might need to be lighter but I also think I may save that decision until more of the image is at this stage...

It's looking amazing Charlotte I'm impressed with what you've been able to do with Artrage. Are you using the dry media tools? Also wondering how big you're working at. I always loved Artrage but the lag and some color issues have really kept me from using.

Wow, she looks fantastic! I love the design you creating, it fits it all so well. And you're whipping along on this one too. Very cool.

Thanks Evil :)
I'm mostly using the ink brush at low opacity actually. And chalk crayons (for the background). This one is approximately 4000*5000 pixels. I see it's set to 72 ppi (just resaved as 300) but from what I can tell the resolution doesn't make any difference in ArtRage (the pixel count doesn't change with resolution, so the image looks the same only print size changes).

It IS laggy though. I'm looking forward to next version which I hear will be less laggy. Hopefully a lot less.
