This is where I'm at now, though I only did like half the tail today. I'm never gonna draw something like this again, ever... ]

:D ... Yeah ya will. :P
The figures in the background look great. I hope you do finish it. Question for ya though, How do you get the BG texture, meaning the soft feel it has, most notably at the bottom, where the skull is. Would this be from the canvas you are working on, or possible the brush? I've been trying to zoom in what I can, but can't tell.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

It's probably a combination of the canvas texture and a crayon type brush. I chose a textured canvas when I started working on the background above the skull but can't recall if I had chosein it when I started the skull. I think it's mostly the grainy brush actually.

 thanks Zeph formerly known as Dave formerly known as Zeph...

I think it's mostly due to the inspiration from forum challenges though. Except the colouring book, we've done nothing like that on here or the old place.

Whoa, waitaminute, so Zeph is Dave? I thought he was going by Dave now? (ZephyrA I mean) and when I posted something the other day, I actually called him Dave, then realized he wasn't Dave so changed the post because he wasn't going by Zeph or ZephyrA anymore? :?

I'm so confused...

I think Zeph-Dave decided there were too many Dave-Daves so he decided to be Zeph-Zeph again. :silly:

But, but why? :( We just started to build an Empire of Daves! We were even trying to convert HAL-bot into a Dave... Oh well...

I do like the name Zeph, though. But maybe wearing name tags might be helpful too. :)

Thanks Evil. I hope I will get to the finish :P
Here's where I am now - alien tail finished and I started on one of the funner characters... Though she's looking a bit dark, I think I need to lighten up parts of her...
