So, just to kick things off, here is an image that I was working on for the last challenge on IFX. I didn't get it finalised or submitted for the finals thread in the end, but I still wanted to get a bit of feedback on it. So any comments will, of course, be welcome!

Plus, I feel a bit special being the first to do it!!!

I like the colouring you've added. There's a lot of empty space though - although maybe you have a plan for it. I think it'd be nice with a hint of structure in the background even if it's just a rock wall or something - or maybe a flock of bats circling at the top.
The character itself still needs a bit of tightening up I think (sharp edges and such) but it' a wip so I'm sure you know.

Congrats on posting the first WIP! I can't believe I totally forgot about posting here! Will have to get around to it staright away!

Actually, that was the wrong WIP. I have done a little more on it since and added a little atmospheric detail.

Is it still a bit too empty?

I think you may have discovered a glitch in the system. try posting images with different names, it looks like the forum may overwrite files with the same naming because the first pic you posted was different to what's there now. :huh:

That would be good to know then. Because I noticed it changed the first one too. Thought the first one, the chain didn't extend all the way to the wrist. ... But if so, you could always just make sure to post the WIP as WIP 1, WIP 2, etc.? Just a thought.

Also, is there a way to have the pic opened within the post? Or will it always be a thumbnail? Just wondering
I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Can we call this kind of mistake "doing a Dom"? As in "oh my god what a complete Dom!!"
