CG ART NEXUS online magazine

When I suggested making a magazine up, I was thinking somewhere way down the line. The idea of having a hard copy of something to fill with some of the works of our labours is quite appealing, but is something that can build over time.

I for one am glad this subject has come up for debate so early on. It gives us something to be aiming at.

The site is the new kid on the block though, so lets enjoy it!

Although I agree that we need to let the new construction dust settle a bit before considering something like this, it's not a bad idea to put it out there and have it at the back of our minds. With talented folks contributing to the forum regularly we are bound to come up with some quality material to put into a quarterly (eventually).

I love the idea of a magazine, however I tend to agree with the others in the thoughts that this new site hasn't even gotten a completed challenge under it's belt.

I think a "best of" digital download where challenge winners share their processes as well as a study/sketchbook section using some of the other ideas that have been discussed in other threads. Maybe using the time line of the anniversary or birthday of this site as a possible launch date. That's just a thought.

I don't know what I would be good at, but I would be happy to help.

Oh yeah... and I would definitely follow this site on Instagram.

I like these ideas Gix! Allowing us non pro's to put up tutorials would be ace! It would be inspiring stuff and allow those of us who are ordinary mortals to feel we could contribute something!
