Job section -

Job section - was created by rorke
Since its empty --- I was wondering if members could place job leads in that section linking them to other sites - like craigeslist or Conceptart or DA and so on? Usually the middle of the month I throw a big net out for art related jobs - but since I am busy with work already I was thinking instead of keeping the info to myself I could post in the jobs section leads for other artists to follow.

...is that ok? Or do you just want to keep it a prospecting employer looking for artists type forum section?
Perhaps we could just have a sticky thread at the top called Job Finder - where all the members could post links to new job opportunities.

I think it's fine if you post links to companies currently hiring and the like. As the description says, as long as it's real and paid jobs :)

Unknown Worlds is hiring for the next Subnautica game! :woohoo:

unknownworlds.com/jobs/

I wish I had any of the skills required  When they list popular jobs in the world it seems most people want to work for Google or Ikea. Unknown Worlds would be my dream job. I think. (Or just working on my own stuff. That'd be my ultimate dream job.)

I think my "dream" job would require:
Experience of drawing eyes and ignoring hands.
Must be proficient in unique, unorthodox skills that no one else uses any more, such as: single layer work or blatant disregard of linework.
Must have limited social skills and be completely unable to communicate ideas, methods and techniques to others.
5+ years of experience using only software that's free or available at a substantial discount.

:)

The Job section was removed years ago because nobody was using it.
