Run for your lives!!
Even though there are no other cut-and-paste dinos just yet.

But I thought I'd have a bit of an Eevee/Cycles comparison....

Cycles (the second one) clearly has better shadows, especially on the modelled trees. I really don't like how pale they are in Eevee especially the distant ones. But in Cycles the particle hairs and grass just will not "pick-up" the material colours in the right way. Don't know why. :dunno:
Maybe I should just do two renders and blend the best bits of each one. :P

Don't worry too much about the grass - it had barely started to evolve at the time of Deinonychus ;)

I think scientific accuracy became extinct when the Mohawk appeared.

Yesterday I played a bit of Founder's Fortune again and figured it might be a good idea to get back to all those items I intended to make for that game.

And tonight I haven't been able to sleep so I think I got up around 4 or 5 and started sorting though my previous notes and ideas and making new notes about what needs to be fixed etc. And I wanted to check an in-game chair for proportions so I can make a note of those, so that my own chairs won't look completely wrong (which they will anyway, since the seats are so low and the legs go into the floor making them look even shorter than they are). Anyway, Banj mentioned uTinyRipper previously, which I got, and used and I distinctly remember looking at the models in the ripped files and seeing how they used "prefabs" for some things.

But now, after spending ages trying to find the tiny ripper (which I didn't actually need only I hoped it would make me remember where I had saved the ripped game, and it did - eventually) I can't actually open/look at any of those bloody files :stare: I have no idea what I'm doing differently from last time, but whatever it is it seems to lack a Unity "project". Though I certainly can't remember adding one before. Maybe I've just tried to open the wrong level folders? :dunno:

It's annoying, though. And I'm not getting anywhere with my mods. :(

EDIT: And just like that - probably because I complained and not because I never tried the top level folder before  - it worked.

Complaining is always an important part of the process. :aha:

I spent a few moments last night making some little rocks to place around the landscape. And now it's time to start duplicating those dinosaurs and posing them. :woohoo:

Poor dinosaurs. They go extinct and everyone forgets about them.

So forgettable that they can just sneak up on you. That's why it's a good idea to keep a glass of water around to detect them.
