Cool looking Owls, Mack. Always been fond of them myself, and my Grandmother was just crazy about them.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Awesome mechs! Love the iterations and the ideas presented on each one! What kind of specs did you have to follow when designing them?

Digital Dave- thanks

crankshaft- they gave me a general idea and some reference. After seeing the silhouettes they started giving me more direction and it went on from there.

Tattoos always make me think of something Ozzy said.

"If you want an original looking tattoo, don't get one!"

Ha! That guy is a comic genius!

On the art front though, I think these are lovely ideas and are very much in your style. The stark contrasts are really bold and eye catching. Just what you want for a tattoo I would have thought!

Everything's on the right!!!

It's like driving abroad!

Domtopia- that doesn't apply to just tattoos. There are no original ideas.:) It's all been done.

Here is another concept of Tetsuo Shima. It was a lot of fun doing all that exploration for the character.

Oh that one's absolutely lovely (even if the nitpicker in me thinks the two birds didn't end up looking quite as ravens... I think their beaks might be a bit small and they're not quite the same build). Love the tree and the background and the composition! (And the motif of course being somewhat partial to norse mythos...)

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Charlotte- thanks. I wanted to change their build so that you could differentiate between them. Two ravens that look exactly the same is pretty boring. Maybe I'll nail the look perfectly next time.
