I just finished watching Epic. Very appropriate!

I love this sort of thing. Intricate design in unlikely places. Very Dinotopia!

Everything's on the right!!!

Evil, your work here is amazing, and speaking as someone who's been gone for a while - everything has come so far!

I'm so impressed!

Thanks very much guys :cheer:

Here's a warm up sketch...still trying to figure out the black and white to color conversion....didn't really work here.

I redid the mushroom mail box. Think this one works way better

Wasn't happy with the nut shell mailbox so here's the rework I did today.

The new workup looks good. The foliage at the bottom really helps the image.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Thanks Dave
Here's a work in progress on my next mailbox design. Going to do a bunch of seashells and sea creatures around the bottom and some mail sticking out of the top shell....that's the plan anyway.

Fun idea with all the different mailboxes. Latest in the Nutshell with the detailed plants really makes it.
One thing on the shell one, since the others are more using their natural structure. What if you flipped the shell 180 and used other sea items (coral, or starfish) to support it. The normal wood frame looks a little out of place to me, but I do like the shell idea.

I like Kodabble's idea of a coral support (or maybe squid arms? :P) but I think the shell should remain right way up. However I feel like maybe the perspective is a little off on the shell - kind of like it's twisting a bit from top to bottom... Maybe it's just the shading, though... but it might be clearer if you enlarge the central whorl a bit... (so that we see that the upper front is indeed the front and not the side, so to speak)

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.
