Hi,
Some may know me from the old forums, my name Anelim. I'm a german computer science student with a lot of interest in digital and traditional painting. It may happens that I vanish from time to time when a programming project requires all my time, but hopefully this shouldn't happen to often. (The last years experience shows this happens way to often!)

Those are my main areas of interest (and a bit of what to expect in here...):
- digital painting in PS, especially realism training studies in black and white
- watercolorpainting, from abstract to realistic - the main thing is: colorfull ;)
- some anatomy training .. there is still a Loomies book to finish studying.... and so much more to learn...

So and now lets start with breaking what I said above! Here is some stuff from my university art course (as I took art as
a minor field of study).
Those are some photos of my pottery / clay work. The ones on the top are from my final piece. It's about 40 to 40 to 30 cm big and it took about 30 hours of work. Some of the others are studies for it.

At the moment I´m photographing all my other work, as I need it digital for the grading in the next week. When I´m done with digitizing the next course, I post some more work.

@Digital Dave: I´m so happy to see so many known faces here also! Thanks for the comment !

So as promised there is more stuff from my university courses to come.
This is now my painting course. We painted with gouache colors in cyan, yellow, magenta, black and white. The course focused a lot on colormixing. So here are first some of exercises we did. They are about mixing out a full spectrum, comparing intensities beween color and black and white images, warm and cold colors and complementary color contrast.

Those were some really helpfull exercirses so I´m thinking about how to emulate them with photoshop. If you have a good idea just tell. (=

The next ones are details from known paintings. We should try to remix the colors and also to emulate the flow from the artist.

And I also made some watercolors. Here is one I allready photographed.
