Thanks Val.
The issue with the mouth is exaggerated by the slip up on the cheek I think. It certainly doesn’t help anyway.
It’s frustrating isn’t it? Those consecutive fails I mean. Don’t give up my friend. I actually really liked your recent post on the monthly challenge. I’ll tell you why on the Wip thread. Just keep pushing through it. It’ll come.

The minions were surprisingly hard to paint. I was hoping they'd be done in about 10 mins but they almost took as long as the guy's face!
They still look a bit flat to me, mainly because they WERE flat as part of the Tshirt. Probably should have searched for a separate minions reference but laziness strikes again.

Edit: And I've only just realised now that I've painted him before too. Memory loss strikes again as well. :eyeroll:

You may have struggled a little recently but when it comes together it REALLY comes together. Awesome!

Thought I'd try and do something a bit more geometric with some actual edges for once.

Not sure it works but it makes a change from the same old rubbish I churn out and I do get sick of repeating myself.

I think the hard edges work well but I do like your normal ‘impressionistic’ softer edges too. I always struggle to suggest details normally, I either detail them up with tiny details or just ignore them completely.
Finally got my page finished, really wish I’d had time to get this done for the monthly but look! I actually completed something!!!

Looking wonderful, Atto :)
In the last panel my eyes keep focusing on his foot, as it's the most distinct part... but other than that little nitpick (it's a well done foot! and hand!), beautiful work.

Well Done, Atto!
No nitpicking from me. Looks amazing!
Love it.

Some painful hands from me today.

They're not as terrible as some that I've done before but they took faaaar to long.
