Great work on that second face. You can really feel the tension in the expression and the force of the teeth biting down.
And even though it's a WIP I'm still liking the Sam L! :)
The angles and geometry are interesting and effective.
I think I watched Glass a couple of weeks back so it's fun seeing them pop up again here. :)

Thanks Val. Loved that movie, in fact I’m a huge fan of all Shyamalanadingdongs work. And yeah I remembered Sketchbook has some nice media choices, unfortunately when I downloaded it I stored it on my now corrupted external hard drive and can’t access the *^$~ing thing!!!

Have you ever tried Artweaver?
I used to mess around with that a few years ago and vaguely recall it having some grainy/brush-stroke effects. I'm not quite sure how stable the recent versions are on modern machines but it might be worth a try if you're going through a phase of testing different software.

....and a very quick, very late thing.

Two faces and some "hands" in the same picture?!

Awesome!
Also a very late thing but I’m slow so not very quick.

It's worth taking your time when the result is that good.
Amazing hair. The sharp light strokes on top of the softer darks behind give it a really tight focus that puts him right "there" in the space before your eyes!
Quality piece of work.

Thanks Val.
I’m doing a give away on Facebook and Instagram. I’m asking people to suggest movie villains for my next piece. Whoever posts the most interesting suggestion gets a free digital file of the completed portrait.
It’s not going so well though. I have 3 suggestions on Facebook and only 1 on Instagram (by my wife, bless her).
Anyone ran something similar before and got some tips? I’m doing it to try and increase my presence but right now it’s falling on its face.

Tilda Swinton as Jadis, in Narnia? She could be real interesting in your style :)

Edit: but no, I've never done something like it and tips I have not :yoda:

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

I did once consider doing an Artist Post on Reddit, where you ask for requests, but I chickened out at the last minute. :P
Maybe one day, but I'm still not confident enough to pull that off.

I obviously have no tips or experience of those social media thingies but one thing I have noticed about Reddit is that people like videos. The number of followers and hits on my profile went up dramatically when I started posting timelapse process videos so that may be a good way to get more engagement with an audience.
Edit: Also... cats. Nothing gets clicks like cats.

And my suggestion of movie villain would probably be Hannibal Lecter. :)
Definitely not yoda. :yoda:
