As well as doing humans with heads that are too big, I can also do dogs with heads that are too big!

I haven't quite got the sense of the twisting body either but...

could be a trick of the camera ;)

It's a lovely done dog head though, and I really like the background too - so abstract yet still obviously a forest edge.

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

This took too long. Baby faces are tough. :S

That’s exactly why I avoid babies like the plague - not enough character to get your teeth into - so to speak.
My external hard drive has had a meltdown so these are uploaded from my phone. Not sure how good the quality is doing it this way so apologies if it’s poor.
Oh and I’m starting my Mead entry tomorrow (promise).

Love the flatness of the background in the first one, really makes you focus on that great head.
Wonderful muted colours in the second one (and that reminds me of someone I once painted on Reddit. Wonder if it's the same guy? :hmm: Probably not.)
And the third one? Great pose, great colours and that grass is soooo convincing in a minimalist, suggestive way!

Thing from me...

And I've sort of made a start on a Mead thing.
Sort of. May upload when it improves.

Drinking mead does not count as a start... just saying...

Today’s effort. I’d normally run a mile from a portrait that is so square on to the subjects face ( I mean you have to worry about things like symmetry and balance if you don’t) but the subject today was from someone’s account who’s given me a lot of support since I joined Sktchy so I had to give it a go.

Great angles from the cheeks to the mouth, it emphasizes the expression very nicely indeed.

Been mostly failures from me these past few days and I'm not sure this isn't another one...

...but at least I kept going with this one even if it did run my battery down. :dead:
