Nice work on that rusty colour/texture. (And I liked the ethereal light in the previous one too!)

Meanwhile I'm obviously not mixing up the subject matter.
Here's some more Too Big Eyes along with some Too Weird Legs! (But at least I censored it. Well, some of it.)

I had my own kind of technical difficulties too with the video. :rage:
ArtRage decided to add some unnecessary commands to the script which completely messed up the playback. It took far too much fiddling to get it right and I've now got another headache that will stop me going to Morrowind tonight. :( And I won't post the video here as that's not censored but it's in the same Reddit place as the others if you want to see more embarrassingly terrible anatomy.

I reworked my earlier piece after today’s earlier shenanigans. I’m sure it was better before the crash but that could be just wishful thinking.

Well at least I’m in good company. And I think that’s awesome Val. Some great colours in the skin tones and the anatomy seems pretty much spot on to me. :cheer:

I think the boat sketch looks great and the birdie too, Atto. You've managed those "colour glimmers" in the feathers really well. I'm not convinced by the wing, but the rest of it looks all nice and floofy.

And Val, censored? You mean she wasn't wearing boots in the reference???
:silly:

Yes, I like those feather colours too. That use of green looks particularly good in that iridescent kind of way.

And Val, censored? You mean she wasn't wearing boots in the reference???

The photo was a bit "porny" but it's rare to have someone posting a nude that has a face in. Usually they're cropped at the neck so their boss doesn't recognise them but that never really works as a painting. I look at them and think, "What am I supposed to do with that?" Do I crop the drawing too or "invent" a head that doesn't look anything like them? So when I see one with face intact it's worth having a go. :)
Didn't quite get that face right though. I think it could use a darker shadow under the nose. I thought I'd get away with a subtle cool colour but it still looks a little off. But not quite as "off" as the bottom leg! I think I changed my mind several times about what to do with that. It looked better when it was more undefined.

That’s like saying Hermann Goring was a bit dodgy!

I'm sure he was a nice guy once you got to know him...
...or maybe not.

Not "porny" today but so damned messy that it really should be censored too for different reasons!

And the video probably finishes a bit too quick cos I spotted some proportional errors only after I'd recorded it and went on to open up the picture again to do some "nose nudging."
And let us all thank the great digital gods for "Select>Free Transform" (even though it's still wrong!)
