This thread is for everyone Atto! It's nice to see someone other than Valence post in it! :D

All today's pictures went very wrong for one reason or another so the thread is all yours!

Both of mine went wrong too! If I can save them tomorrow I’d be glad to hijack the thread again.

Beautiful eyes Val (I mean the drawings not yours (though you might have beautiful eyes too, dunno))
Anyway.......yesterday’s fail slightly saved. At least I was trying to add a little warmth to the shadows so not a complete waste of time.

My own eyes are absolutely magnificent. :confident:
And yet not quite as functional as they should be. *cleans glasses*
As for the drawing... eyes OK, nose a little wonky but maybe mine is too.

Your pic looks like a good save and well worth the extra effort. I like how the off-screen light shapes the forms of the left side and cuts cleanly into those creases.
And it reminds me of something I've been consciously trying to add to my pics recently. I've noticed/remembered that when there's a strong edge between bright light and shadow it's sometimes good to separate them with a really saturated colour. It's an effective way of making bright areas "shine" a little more and it's one more way of adding warm and cool tones into an image.

Not content just to save yesterday’s crappy sketch I’ve spent about three hours on this too.
Now lovingly entitled by a friend of mine who I recently sketched looking like a rock star (see the post from two days ago - next time I swear I’ll draw him to look like the complete git that he is) ‘Ponder Woman’!

I used today’s hour and a half sketch to put something down as a background for the monthly challenge. Popped a little blur on it as you suggested Val for the challenge but here’s the original.
