well I obviously don't remember it correctly either...

Trois crayons - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trois_crayons
Trois crayons (French for "three chalks") is a drawing technique using three colors of chalk: red (sanguine), black, and white. The paper used may be a mid-tone ...

I guess yours would be deus crayons? IF I remember the word for 2 correctly....

Yes, I thought that was what it referred to although I've never heard it called that. I just remember it being called sanguine.
Although in our case it's just "une wacom" for everything.

And quick! Edit that post and change the S to an X! ;)

Fair douze. :P

Anyway, here's another daily double.

A sparsely detailed cat...

...and a creepy vampire kid...

Yeah, I kinda like that cat one too.
Sadly I don't like this doggy one...

I got to a point where I really wanted to ditch (and delete) it but I'd invested a bit too much time in it so I pushed on and on trying to make it justify the hours.
In the end, I think I got a bit lost in the texture and fur, and now I find I can't really "see" the picture anymore. It's just a "thing" that I've stared at for too long. :(

Maybe I'll be able to judge it a bit better in a few days with fresh eyes.

Edit: I had a bit of a fiddle with it and the ears look a little more defined now. It's still not how I wanted it to look but I've had enough of it now. :P

I think it's cute but maybe there's a bit too much texture for the fur to look as soft as you'd expect... Maybe try softening it in places? Around the edges or something.... Not sure where the best parts to do that, would be...

Yeah, I was expermenting with the sticker sets with this one. I started off wanting to do it all with the wispy fur sticker but it ended up being too soft like one big ball of fluff!. So I had to break that idea and use a bit of pencil and that shaggy fur custom brush to try and define some more detail. Sadly it resulted in a bit of inconsistency.

Although the things that bother me more are the structural problems at the top left. That ear and eye are very wrong. But the reddit person liked it so that's all that matters really.

Another creepy one, this time with some Medusa hair. (Or maybe tentacle hair, if that works for you instead. :P)
