Nothing dodgy about the left (our left) hand. The right one looks a wee small and maybe the palm/thumb area could have used one more try But overall it's another good study, I'd say.

Nice. Though It looks like the bridle and bit are detached, being you don't see the connection to the ring.

Yes, I thought that was odd but it did look like that in the photo and because I have absolutely no knowledge of horsey things I just thought it was safer to copy what I was looking at instead of trying to "fix" it.

Yeah, it could be attached to an inner clip pin, so you don't see it. Kind-a figured your ref might show the same, since you do follow them quite well. ... But in the artwork pic, some might see it as a de-attachment, especially if they were un-familiar with them.
