Nice... whether you used a ref or not, one would think more than just two toes would be showing on the front right foot. Just looks like some are missing. Maybe just seeing some remnants of the others...

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

I would never dare to draw a frog without a reference. If I did it from memory/imagination it'd probably just look like Kermit.
I think one of the toes must be hidden behind the others but I actually had more trouble with the back left leg. All the toes seemed to be smooshed together there and I struggled to see what I was supposed to be drawing so I think there might be one toe too many on that foot too.

Anyway enough of frogs, I don't really like dogs either. :S

Haha... Yeah, I thought I saw an extra toe back there, but also didn't have my glasses on, and wasn't sure. :) Still looks good and like the new one as well. ... I am a Dog guy ya know. :)

Oh come on. You love dogs. And that one looks like Yoda :D Just look at that smug face! :yoda:

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Oh, I do like dogs, and most animals (even though I'm mainly a "cat person") but drawing and painting them never gets easier. There's just so much variation in the structure of dog faces that I feel like I'm having to learn new and different anatomy with every dog I see.

Thank you. It did take quite a bit of effort to get the flesh to look "fleshy".
Due to a bit of early indecision I started off with a tone that was a bit too dark and warm and many minutes were wasted trying to get those paler colours back. I should plan better.
