General Scribbles

Afternoon scribble...

I'm also looking at doing some studies... But currently down in the basement working. Mostly reorganizing some stuff around. Actually purchased a drawing desk last night, so I'll have a place to work from. Wanted to pick up one that tilts to try out. Plus didn't want anything too big. But will set some time aside sometime tonight.

Well this took too long and isn't quite right.

Still looks quite nice... I've been putting some time in sketching each day, thought it's taking a bit of time since I've actually worked on a few different things, but have been enjoying getting back into some pencil sketching. Also waiting for the new desk to arrive, which is scheduled for Thursday. (At the same time, still getting some other stuff done around the house, so also staying busy, as well as sore.) But that too has been enjoyable to a point...

I like the eyes and the tattoo (even though I don't usually like tattoos) but I didn't get a likeness and that really bugged me.
Also the shoulder/arm seems a little too flat. It could really use another 15-20 minutes of alternating between Multiply and Screen layers to get a bit more dimension to it but I was already over-running with my time so much that the video got ditched half way through and I still didn't get chance to do ANY gaming yesterday.

No Gwent.

Actually it's not one of my worst hands but it was soooo hard and took at least five attempts (with five tantrums in between.)

Fingers don't look that bad, maybe slightly off angle. But the top of the hand appears off. Almost like it's dented in due to the shading, and maybe a puffiness near the wrist.
