I feel like it's mostly from the eyebrows and up, that it's a caricature.... 
And yet, of course, very much his eyebrows.
I googled pics of him in case I'd give him a try, though I certainly won't be doing it tonight. Anyway, I've never noticed before how much jewellery he wears. Almost always necklaces, often bracelets. I like it. I like that he wears pink and uses scrunchies for his man bun. I like that he's not afraid to be called "effeminate". Though with his physique and beard I guess nobody would dare. Still, I do like it when people dare cross those "gender boundaries" we have in clothing styles.

Did a bit more work to narrow the cheeks and shoulders and made it even less of caricature now.
Not Momoa any more, just Lessless.
But it is the eyebrows that I immediately think of with him, especially the split brow on one side. Also when looking at refs I noticed that his gaze always seems to diverge as if he's looking at a Magic Eye picture behind the camera.

I posted that Dafoe pic in three places, and not a single person mentioned that I had it dated as last year.

It's a caricature, you were just exaggerating its age.
I feel fortunate if I can remember what day it is. Took a while for me to accept that it wasn't Friday this morning.
