Nice scribbles... I'm getting close. I actually put one of my sketchbooks and writing instruments in my backpack the other day. So it's a sign I may actually put them together at some point.

I like the deep shadowing in that first base with the overhang and the entrance. It really pulls your gaze into the structure and shapes the form around it.
And is that a little fish in the second one?
