That greyscale pic looks much more satisfying now that you can show it as intended. The proper value range shows off all your hard work with the deep shadow areas and the brighter sheen where the light hits. :thumbup:

That's an interesting process in the first pic, crank.
I often have difficulty visualising a final idea from just the linework (it's one of the reasons that I don't bother with lines) but filling the silhouettes with textures like that immediately gives a sense of a 3D object to work towards.

The first and last ones stand out to me in this selection.

The first has a really bold and solid structure that's even clear to see in the thumbnail and the last one has a nice balance of complexity and open space that makes it interesting to navigate as your gaze moves around everything.
