Tyl's sketches and doodles

24 Jul 2014 07:56 - 24 Jul 2014 07:58 #4021 by Tyl
I need to do more sketches. So, why not post them here. I'm experimenting with sketchbook pro on my Ipad. I use a Intuos Creative Stylus. Of course its a big difference with the Cintiqs... but I can doodle away. I drew this dog character on it. The thinking balloon I added in photoshop.

Agree, the dog looks pretty coo. Though his 'bellybutton?' looks a lot like a bullet hole the way it was done. :)

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

I think it's funny how I can't decide whether he's thinking of "hot dogs" (if you pardon the pun) or wants to be one - the way they are both posed the same implies he'd like to wear a bikini :P

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

Tyl! Good to see a post from you! Looking forward to seeing more of your work! Cute sketch, but I do agree with Charlotte. I'm guessing you just did a copy and recolor and few extra changes of the original image?

The tablet idea came af the last minute. So A couple of quick and easy tricks I did.
Its unclear what he's really thinking of. That's the funny part.

A doodle test with my new Cool grey Copic markers. Great way to practice values when I have half an hour of time to waste.
And look, the dumb dog is back. It's actually a character design for the game I'm working on.

Something more subtile is quite a challenge.
